AZ Beemer Roadrunner Rally in Heber, Arizona

Heber is located on the edge of the Mogollon Rim on Hwy 260, and is  a beautiful ride through some of Arizona’s Alps.  Sad to note that some of the fire damage from a few years back is still visible from the road.

The crowd at the rally seemed smaller than past years...until dinner was served Saturday night and the woodwork opened up!  Estimates of 380 attendees went around the table.

The GS Ride was pretty popular.  Dirt roads run in every direction with a lake or two along the way.

There were no shops and not as many vendors this year.  Not sure why, the riders came.  Maybe next year we’ll see more.

The door prize selection was awesome.  Some excellent prizes were donated by some of the top motorcycle accessory providers.  Good on ‘em!

As in the past SEAT members abounded!  There were 34 members in the crowd that we counted.  Hopefully we didn’t miss anyone.  Let us know if we did.

The AZ Beemers put on a great rally, although some of us did miss the Belly Dancers!  The Country Western Band was pretty good.

Members present:  Clint Alston, Richard Bartasek, Gail Ben-Jamin, Deborah & Gary Blomstrom, Michael Burke, Stephen Cantrill, Neal & Nancy Clark, Michael & Doreen Conner, Danese & Patrick Dykes, Doris Faircloth, Hank Halverson, Mary & Rick Lambert,            Al Maurine, Deryle & Wanda Mehrten, Carl Mueller, Richard Osburn, Vic Paladini, Bill Schink & Marilyn Landy, Don Schweiger, Cheryl & Terry Smart, Alan Speert, David Stoflet, Herb Suessenbach, LaRae & Chuck Thompson, Mark Weger.

I’m sure there will be a Roadrunner Rally in 2009.  Mark your calendars now!
