SEAT Lunch at the Country View Restaurant, Benson, AZ

     What a weekend it was, spring like weather, the best weather to ride in.  For those of us that went over to Deming, New Mexico for The Deming Gathering, the Country View Restaurant was an easy late morning ride...and there was a bunch of us at The Deming Gathering (see page 5).

     The SEAT lunch turnout was excellent at the Country View, 46 SEAT members and 3 guests.  Seems folks don’t remain guests very long, 4 new members signed up at the luncheon!  Not bad.

     The folks at the Country View took real good care of us.  The food was good and I got more than I could eat.  Without the buffet in the center, there was plenty of room.  We’ll keep them in mind for another lunch.  Be sure to go to the SEAT web site and rate the Country View.

     At every luncheon we have new riders and new faces.  Some only visit us one time, and some become members and we see them almost every month.  If you come to a luncheon and you don’t recognize anyone, don’t let that stop you from introducing yourself and joining us for some tire kicking and true lies.  The folks you sit with might be there for the first time, too.  We’re all there because of our commonality, motorcycles.

     If you rode south from Benson you may have noticed the Monastery in Saint David was having their annual arts and crafts festival this same weekend.  It’s a great place to buy bread that is prepared and baked the old fashion way.  The Monastery is always a neat place to visit whenever you ride by.

     Next month is the SEAT Christmas Party.  Of course everyone is invited.  We really do have a good time.  Lots of door prizes and the food is just too good. And don’t forget the Cochise Motorsport’s Open house.  Cliff and friends do a great party and again, the food is just too good.  See your there!
