Annual SEAT Car Ride
October 19th, 2024

All of us love motorcycles but many also own interesting cars. Let's get that car out of the garage, bring your significant other, and go for a ride. Any interesting car is invited; a collectible, convertible, sports car, custom, hot rod etc.

We will be meeting at 8:30 at the parking lot next to the Velero Staion in Catalina., 15240 N Oracle Rd.
We are riding to St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Monastery. It is located at 4784 N Saint Josephs Way, Florence. We turn east on a road 7 9 miles south of Florance.
This is a beautiful facility. The grounds and the chapels are amazing. The tour is very interesting.
They do have very conservative dress code. If you are not properly dressed, the bookstore, has a supply of outer clothing for your use. It is not as restrictive as is sounds.
Women are kindly asked to wear long-sleeved, loose-fitting shirts that fully cover the chest up to the neck; long skirts (or dresses) without deep slits; scarves that cover the head and wrap under the chin and around the neck, so that the neck is also covered.

Men are asked to wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts. Please, no baseball caps or clothing with inappropriate words or images. Inside, especially in church, men are asked to keep their heads uncovered.
You can read about it here.

After the tour we will have lunch in Florence to the Mt Athos Restaurantat, 444 N Pinal Pkwy, Florence,
