Dirt Ride

Monday December 16th

MEET :  9:00 AM at Amado in front of the Longhorn Restaurant—-( Big horns seen from I-19  Amado Exit ).  

Route :  Amado to Arivaca on pavement and then East to I-19 on Ruby Rd. which is mostly dirt.  Then East and up and over the Patagonia Mountains  on River and Duquesne Rds  to Washington Camp and a break. From there  North on Harshaw Rd and Harshaw Creek to Patagonia for lunch at the Gathering Grounds. After lunch return home or get a little more dirt time to Canelo and then home.

Bike :   Any adventure type bike ready to handle rough, hard pack roads with some sections of mild depth sand. Intermediate riding skills required.

Equipment : Moderate off road  adventure type tires, Snack and Water, self repair tire tools. Cell phone coverage is spotty.

RIDE TIME :  Expect a full day ride:  Home to Tucson by 4:00 or so.
