Hi GS riders and other dual purpose bike riders. Fall dirt riding weather is here and I’m ready to get dusty. I am again going to start the season with an ascent up Pinal Mountain just South out of Globe. That’s where the communication towers are as high as they can be at about 8,000 ft. The ride is close to 20 miles up a graded dirt road up from the base out of Globe. I checked the road out last week and its in good shape all the way to the top .It is a gradual, slow speed climb that an intermediate rider will enjoy and the views along the way of the Dripping Springs Mountains and valleys to the N and S are spectacular. There are many photo op locations. Lunch after we are back down. This is just a casual ride and anybody is welcome to join in at their own pace.
