Where Are We?

 We are starting a monthly contest called "Where are we?".  

 On the last page of Arizona Highways, the premier Arizona magazine documenting all of what Arizona has to offer, the editor does a monthly contest called "Where is this?".  There's a picture of a location or object with readers encouraged to submit their best guess as to where or what's in

the picture.

 Recently, for example, their "Where is this?" was titled "Wheel Question" and was a picture of the mining wheel in Grassy Park in downtown Bisbee.  Deryle and Wanda Mehrten immediately recognized the wheel and the stone wall and emailed their answer to Arizona Highways.  Deryle and Wanda like to see how many of these locations and objects they know, and possibly have visited.

 Over the years Wanda has taken literally thousands of pictures of Arizona's highways and byways on their motorcycle travels across the state. Many are at some of Arizona's most interesting places including State Parks, National Parks, Scenic Roads, Dams, Statues, etc., etc.  Many of those pictures have been published in "The View from the SEAT", posted to the SEAT and MOA websites, and even a few in the BMW MOA Owners News.

Deryle is starting on a monthly basis, using Wanda's pictures as the clue, will post a picture with a few words on the SEAT website.  Any current SEAT member can send an email with their best guess to identify where the picture was taken and/or the name of the object in the picture to Deryle and Wanda  ( mehrten@cox.net ).  Each month a winner will be chosen through a random drawing if more than one correct guess is received.
