- The Catwalks Recreation Area in Glenwood, NM. We visited here and enjoyed the short hike along the catwalks. This is a fascinating and definitely worthwhile experience.
- Lodging: Los Olmos Lodge; Glenwood, NM. Nice cabins.
- Dinner: Glenwood Tavern. This is the hangout for the locals all of which were welcoming. The only item on the food menu was pizza which was quite good.

- Lodging: Los Milagros Hotel; Columbus, NM. This is a great, hospitable, small family-owned hotel
- The Pink Store: Located just over the border in Puerto Palomas, Mexico. Philip, the owner of the Los Milagros Hotel drove us there and back which was very kind of him. He crosses the border frequently and knows the drill. All we needed was our Passports. A visit to The Pink Srore is highly recommended if you have the opportunity
