Kitt Peak

Friday October 16th

Meet for breakfast 8:30 am at Richie's Cafe at the Ryan Airfield.  (9700 W. Ajo Hwy.) Depart for Kitt Peek National observatory at 9:30 am, depending on cafe service. We'll head West on Ajo Rd. to AZ 386 to the observatory, which  is on Tohono O'odham Nation land.  Elevation is 7,000 feet above sea level so it may be a bit cool at the top.
