Arivaca

Friday Sept. 4th.

 

We met at the San Xavier Del Bac mission. ​It took  from 1783 - 1797 to build the mission, which makes  it the oldest European structure in Arizona.

​

We rode down the Mission road to the Duval mine and Continental Rd. From there the route took us to Amado, the Arivaca Rd. to Arivaca and  La Gitana Cantina. It's said the Cantina is the oldest bar in the oldest continuously inhabited town site in Arizona.
