Parker Canyon Lake

There was no regular ride planned for this day due to the Black Range ride. However Skip Blecker, Gary Cassett and Bruno chose to ride to Parker Canyon Lake. Left the gas station at Houghton d Sahuarita at 9:00 a.m and got to Parker Canyon about 10:45. Had blue skies with a few light clouds and 81° temperature for a beautiful ride down. No sooner had we set up our chairs to sit by the lake where Bruno played in the water and a massive thunderstorm came through and soaked us for about an hour and a half. Made the hot ride back to Tucson very pleasurable.
