Mike Ripley and I  returned from a 13 day motorcycle trip to and through Baja, Mexico. A new friend and I made it to Cabo San Lucas, the southernmost tip. This ride was one for the books. So many memories and stories to tell. I will be posting one day of the trip at a time.

​

No pictures of the first day as it was mostly freeway to make it from our homes to Mexicali. I needed to cancel my TVIP (temporary vehicle permit) and thought it would be smart to do it in Mexicali. Turns out that if you get a Sonora only permit, which I had, you have to turn it in at a Sonoran port of entry. So, since it was going to expire before the end of our trip we had to ride to San Luis about an hour away. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn’t about 104 degrees there that afternoon.
